We’re back with this weeks ad of the week. It was created by the Duval Guillaume Brussels advertising agency in Brussels.
The main reason this ad gets awarded with our ‘advert of the week’ is because of the use of a ‘fun’ animation mixed with a good storyline which results in a very different outcome to the one you may think.
Well, it’s been a while but the advert of the week is back and back with a bang! This collection of posters portrays what RSPCA constantly has to deal with. This clever reflection on this sensitive matter is why these ads have made it into this weeks top spot.
This week’s advert comes from Colombian agency EURO RSCG. Created on behalf of their client DFM, who manufacture commercial vehicles, this is a really clever ad that makes maximum use of it’s placement in the Colombian yellow pages – together with the tag line ‘It doesn’t matter what your business is about, carry it in a DFM’.
After being away last week this is the first advert for a couple of weeks. This sombre TV advert aired in Vietnam, carrying a strong message aimed at encouraging parents to make their children wear motorcycle helmets; a real problem throughout South East Asia where motorbikes are the primary form of transport.
This week’s advert is one of my favourite Ads of the Week ever!
An ambient advert, the image says it all – a FedEx truck with the front end of a DHL truck painted on the back-side of it, and the simple strap-line ‘Always First’.
This week the advert comes from Canadian agency Publicis, on behalf of their client Lebeau Auto Glass. The strapline on the bottom of the ad reads “Fast Repairs”. The rest of the ad speaks for itself. Brilliant! Get your poster frames from Stock Displays.
This week’s advert is an ambient ad by German glue company Pattex. A giant model of a tube of Pattex glue was attached to the end of a huge crane on a construction site in Germany. When the crane lifted any heavy items, the items were attached to the end of the giant Pattex tube [...]
This weeks ad is a great piece from MemoPlus, placed over 6 pages of a magazine. In their own words: ‘They say the more you repeat it, the bigger the chances of memorising something. An efficient alternative, though, is MemoPlus, a natural memory enhancer. In order to show its effect, we chose to repeat one [...]
This weeks advert is an ambient piece from the Salvation Army to promote Fretex – their chain of secondhand clothing shops. A fake ‘catwalk’ was set up outside the exit of a busy subway station, with unsuspecting passengers becoming the models. The idea was that the passengers were modelling what may become the future Fretex [...]
This week we have another advert that was released at the end of 2010. This advert was created by the agency M&C Saatchi on behalf of their client Network Rail. The advert was used to highlight work that was being carried out on the railway around Reading & London, and I am sure you will [...]
Stock Displays was formed in 2001 as manufacturers of display products. Since then, the company has grown at great speed and in 2009 we moved to a new 25,000 square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility close to Robin Hood Airport in Yorkshire. Together with partners in the Far East, Stock Displays manufacture the highest specification product ranges at some of the lowest prices in the UK.
